Would you like some professional help free of charge?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, this workshop may be for you:
Thursday 23 March 10am – 1pm JOB INTERVIEW SKILLS at Tambellup CRC
It is normal to feel nervous about going for a job interview. In this practical workshop, we will help you prepare by:
- Showing you some easy steps to create a positive impression and avoid embarrassing silences
- Looking at the types of questions you can expect to be asked and how to answer them
- Giving you tips to build your confidence and calm your interview anxiety
The Tambellup Community Resource Centre (CRC) is partnering with Worklink Albany to host this free workshop, which includes lunch.
Tambellup CRC manager Viv Ford said that Tambellup is an isolated rural community that needs access to professional career services and networks. “It is difficult for people in our community to travel 1.5 hours to Albany and I encourage them to take advantage of this valuable opportunity,” she said.
Bookings for this workshop are essential and must be confirmed at least one week in advance.
One-on-one career guidance appointments will be available at the CRC at no charge after the workshops on a first come first served basis. These must be booked in advance to secure an appointment.
Worklink is an Albany-based not-for-profit organisation which has been serving regional Western Australians since 1988. Their career consultants offer free assistance with resumes, job applications and career guidance. For more information about Worklink, go to www.worklinkwa.com.au.
